I’ve had the privilege of serving as pastor at LPBC since December 2020, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the most loving, welcoming church families I’ve ever known. I strive to ensure that my preaching is biblically grounded and aims to be both thought-provoking and relevant to the challenges we face in everyday life. 

I was born and raised in Phoenixville, PA and after graduating from High School, I served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973 as an aircraft mechanic and flight crew member. Before being called to pastoral ministry, I worked as a firefighter and later as a foreman and designer for a fire sprinkler company. I also served as the National Disaster Relief Coordinator for American Baptist Men USA, helping to establish a nationwide network of volunteers and equipment for disaster recovery efforts. 

After receiving my Master of Divinity degree from Palmer Theological Seminary, I pastored churches in Pottstown and Springfield (Delaware County), PA, and Hoosick Falls, NY. I also served as Associate Pastor at Parkerford Baptist Church in Spring City, PA. It’s my greatest joy to walk alongside others as we grow in Christ together.
